MWC is here and we saw various brands announcing their new devices at the event. Now Nothing has also revealed some interesting details about the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) at the event. Yes, Nothing will surely bring the next smartphone which is confirmed to be called Nothing Phone (2).
Nothing founder Carl Pei has joined hands with Qualcomm for its next smartphone launch. The upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen series chipset after all. So this year the device will be completely a true flagship after all.
Sadly, the company didn’t specify the exact chipset being used for the new Nothing Phone (2). We can expect the new Nothing Phone (2) could come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC after all.
That’s all we have for now more details about the new Nothing Phone (2) will be out in the coming months.
Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, told Inverse that the U.S. was his top priority in terms of markets. The Phone (1) isn’t built to support bands used by US carriers (you can get one for $300, but it’s a beta test). Nothing Phone (2) will target the US market specifically in late 2023.
Nothing sells more TWS buds than the US, in fact, the US accounts for a third of all sales. Pei believes that the Phone (2) will have similar success in the new market.
