Since the Xiaomi Pad 5 range of tablets was a resounding success, both on the local and international markets, the company appears to be preparing the Xiaomi Pad 6 series for release. The specifications and design of the tablet have been leaked several times recently. We now know the display and chipset specifications, as well as the expected launch date, thanks to a new report.
DCS, a popular Weibo tipster, reports that Xiaomi Pad 6 series tablets could launch in March or April. According to previous reports, the tablets will launch alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi Band 8 in April.

Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship tablets are expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The base model of the Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 870. On the basis of past models, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro may feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The Xiaomi Pad 6 series may also boast upgraded displays with 2.8K or 3K resolution, surpassing the 2.5K screens of the Pad 5 series.
The Xiaomi Pad 6’s camera module will look a lot like the one on the Xiaomi 12. The display could support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ with a refresh rate of 120Hz/144Hz. Battery capacity is expected to be 10,000mAh, and fast charging is expected to be 67W.
