The Realme GT Neo 5 will be available on February 9 with 240W fast charging. A senior executive at the company shared a teaser image today, confirming that the phone will get a 150W fast-charging version.
According to the company’s tests, the slower-to-charge version will have a 5,000mAh battery, which will charge from 0 to 100% in 16 minutes.
The Dimensity 8100-powered GT Neo3 150W is the only Realme smartphone that supports 150W fast charging. The GT Neo 5’s 4,500 mAh battery charges completely in 16 minutes in our real-life tests, so we’re curious how it will compare.
Both GT Neo 5 versions should have similar specs, except for one major difference – the 240W variant should use Qualcomm’s chipset, while the 150W version should use Mediatek’s Dimensity 8200. Both smartphones have different battery capacities, but the major question will be whether both will leave China or whether one will remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
The smartphone will come with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera sensor, according to a recent teaser. OnePlus 11’s flagship model recently featured this same camera sensor. The same sensor will also be used on the OnePlus Ace 2/ OnePlus 11R, confirming that BBK International will release some capable cameras this year.
Due to the difference in software settings, the camera performance of the Realme GT Neo 5 might differ from the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R.
