On February 9th, realme GT Neo5 smartphone will be launched in China. A teaser video has been posted by the company showing a rear design with LED lights on the back, which confirms earlier rumors.

According to rumors from December, the phone will include RGB lights, but the new teaser only shows purple lights. It features three rear cameras, with the main camera at the top and two below.

According to Realme, charging the phone for 30 seconds with the 240W charger will give two hours of talk time, but the total charging time has not yet been revealed.

Even after 1600 complete charge and discharge cycles, the battery’s effective capacity will be 80%, twice the industry standard, so that the phone can be used after four years. It is a 10C ultra-thin pole-piece battery, so even if the power is higher, you won’t be concerned.

Specs:

On both variants of the GT Neo 5, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will be present. Additionally, both models will feature a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, 2772 x 1240p resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

In addition to weighing 199 grams, both phones have a triple camera setup on the back. The camera features a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor along with an 8MP and a 2MP secondary sensor.

The primary difference between these two models is only the charging rate and battery pack. Among the two models, one will feature a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging, while the other will feature a smaller 4,600mAh battery that supports 240W fast charging.

We have reported this in the past. The same information had also been revealed earlier this week in a TENAA certification listing. RMX706 and RMX3708 are the model numbers for the two versions. Stay tuned as we will provide updates as additional information becomes available.
