Vivo plans to launch its flagship X90 series in the global market after unveiling it in China. There have been numerous leaks of details about the Vivo X90, including its price, launch date, specifications, and other information. Paras Guglani reported on Newzonly.com that the series will be launched in Malaysia. Vivo will not launch the Vivo X90 Pro+ this time for global markets; only the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro will be launched.
Vivo X90 pricing is expected to start at RM 3,699 (Rs 69,170) and go up to RM 5,299 (Rs 98,975) for the Vivo X90 Pro. There will be two color options for the vanilla model – Breeze Blue and Asteroid Black. The Vivo X90 Pro will be available in Legendary Black. Both models are expected to come with 12GB+256GB of storage.
According to the report, the series will launch on January 31st, 2023 in Malaysia, following earlier leaks, and may go on sale on February 2nd. In India, the smartphone will be launched on the same date. The company has not yet confirmed this.
Vivo X90:
The Vivo X90 will measure 8.8mm thick and weighs around 195g. The new Vivo X90 will sport 6.78 inches QHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260p. It comes with a 120Hz refresh and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by the latest Dimensity 9200 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 4.0 storage options.
The new Vivo X90 features a new Sony IMX866 50MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.75 coupled with a 12MP portrait sensor with f/1.98 aperture that gets 2x optical zoom support. Lastly, there is a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture with LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter. It will come with a V2 dedicated ISP chip.
The Vivo X90 is packed with a 4810 mAh battery with 120W fast charge support. It runs on Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3 on top.
Vivo X90 Pro:
The Vivo X90 Pro will measure 9.3mm thick and weighs around 215g. The new Vivo X90 Pro will sport the same 6.78 inches QHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260p. It comes with a 120Hz refresh and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by the latest Dimensity 9200 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 4.0 storage options.
