Last week, Poco announced the Poco C50. In India, the device goes on sale today. The brand may soon release a better version of the handset called Poco C55, according to a reliable source.
All the key features of this upcoming phone have already been revealed. It will be a rebranded version of an existing Redmi smartphone. Here are the details.
A new Poco device called Poco C55 may be launched, according to Kacper Skrzypek. It is a rebadged Redmi 12C, which went official in China on New Year’s Eve.
As well as the Redmi 12C, the tipster also reveals its international release date. The device will be available in both NFC and non-NFC versions. The Poco C55, however, will not support NFC.
Poco C55 is expected to have the same specs as the Redmi 12C, but its rear might be different.

The new Redmi 12C will sport 6.71 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage.
It features a 50MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, a micro USB port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 12 OS without any custom skin on top. The device measures 8.7 mm thick and weighs 192g.
