Gigabyte has announced two new laptops under its gamer-focused AORUS brand at CES 2023. With premium and top-of-the-line specifications, the AORUS 17X and AORUS 15X are the latest offerings. Except for a few differences, the two new machines are identical.

The Gigabyte AORUS 17X features a 17.3-inch display with a QHD resolution and a refresh rate of 240Hz. AORUS 15X has a 15.6-inch screen with a QHD resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. With a chassis made of aluminum alloy, the laptops measure 21.8mm thin. The RGB lightbar can be customized, and the keyboard is backlit.

The Gigabyte AORUS 17X and 15X are powered by Intel Core i9 HX processors of the 13th generation. The former has up to 16GB of GDDR5 RTX4090 GPU while the latter has up to 8GB of GDDR6 RTX4070 GPU. Users can play games at ultra-fast frame rates with up to 175W TGP. They are equipped with up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen4x4 SSD. A vapor chamber and dual fans are used for heat dissipation in the Windforce Infinity cooling technology.

Out of the box, the Gigabyte AORUS 17X and 15X run on Windows 11. With Thunderbolt 4, the machines can deliver 100W of power.

Gigabyte has not yet announced pricing or availability information for the AORUS 17X and 15X. Soon, we will learn more details.
