LG Display has made an official announcement regarding CES 2023. The CES 2023 will begin later this week. In order to advance display technologies, the company has developed a multitude of products. LG will soon deliver foldable displays for laptops as well as smartphones. With “Always On,” the brand has officially announced that it will present cutting-edge display technologies that improve people’s lives.
A 17-inch foldable OLED display will be launched by LG displays. There are no creases on the display, which is one of its most impressive features. You won’t see any creases in it even when you fully fold or unfold it. There are multiple ways to use the display. When opened up, the display resembles a tablet or portable monitor. Moreover, the brand has added support for a stylus pen to enhance productivity.
There will also be an 8-inch foldable OLED display. It is possible to fold the device 360 degrees, as its name implies. For increased utility, a device can fold in both directions. In addition to its unique folding mechanism, its modular structure ensures durability after 200,000 folds.
This will be LG Display’s first stand dedicated entirely to next-generation vehicle displays. With P-OLED and LTPS (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) LCD, the company will provide small-to-medium-sized OLED and automotive display solutions. It will also demonstrate its Thin Actuator Sound Solution, an innovative technology designed to enhance the user experience of infotainment systems. The official launch of many other products is in the pipeline.
