The Galaxy F04 is expected to be announced by Samsung in January 2023, according to a report last month. Flipkart has launched a landing page for an entry-level phone. In addition to confirming the launch date, it also confirms important Galaxy F04 features.
On Flipkart, the Galaxy F04’s microsite reveals that it will debut on Jan. 4 at 12 pm (local time). Starting at Rs 7xxx, the device will be priced well under Rs 8,000.
Specs:
Galaxy F04 will come with 8 GB of RAM, which is a combination of physical RAM and virtual RAM. The handset features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch on the front.
Samsung will pre-install Android 12 on the Galaxy F04. Two OS upgrades will be available for the F04. It will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and pack a 5,000mAh battery.
The F04 features a glossy rear shell and dual cameras with LED flashes. Camera specifications for the F04 are not yet available. Jade Purple and Opal Green shades will be available.
Samsung launched its entry-level Galaxy M04 smartphone last month in India. Amazon is the only place to purchase the M04. Galaxy F04, a rebranded version of M04, will be available on Flipkart only.
