According to reports, Poco will soon launch its C50 smartphone in India. Many details about the smartphone have already been revealed on the IMEI and Google Play Supported Devices databases. There is a new report claiming to have information on the exact launch date for the device in India.

According to 91mobiles, industry sources have informed them that the Poco C50 will launch on January 3rd in India. C50 is Poco’s first C series device to launch in India since September 2021’s Poco C31.

Poco had previously announced that the Poco C50 would debut in India in November. An unidentified reason delayed the phone’s release. According to our sources, the launch date will now be January 3rd. Poco will formally confirm this soon enough.

It is quite clear from previous leaks that the Poco C50 will be a rebranded Redmi A1+.

The new Redmi A1+ will sport 6.52 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.

It features an 8MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 12 OS without any custom skin on top. The device measures 9.09 mm thick and weighs 192g.
