Motorola announced back in August that its smartphones would receive Android 13 updates. There were ten devices in the lineup, which is not too many for a brand like Motorola. After one of our readers asked a question on an official forum, the company responded with an expanded list. Here is the new list, which now contains 20 smartphones, double the number originally included.
The list of devices includes Motorola Razr (2022), Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, Motorola Edge 30 Pro, Motorola Edge+ 5G UW (2022), Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, Motorola Edge 30 Neo, Motorola Edge 30, & Motorola Edge (2022).
Further, the older devices include Motorola Edge 20 Pro, Motorola Edge 20, Motorola Edge (2021), Motorola Edge 20 Lite, & Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022). The list of G-series devices includes Motorola Moto G 5G, Motorola Moto G82 5G, Motorola Moto G72, Motorola Moto G62 5G, Motorola Moto G52, Motorola Moto G42 & Motorola Moto G32. No word about the other devices including the budget Motorola E series at the moment.
As part of the update, “select devices” will be receiving the update starting in early 2023. It’s unclear how much waiting you have left if you own one of these, especially the lower-end handsets that we’re sure will not be prioritized. We’ll let you know if more information becomes available.
