POCO is launching the POCO C50 in India. This smartphone will be unveiled in the last week of November, according to Xiaomi’s sub-brand. It has also been confirmed what the upcoming offering will be called. POCO C50 is the successor to C40, which was announced in June but never released in India. There was only one POCO C-series phone left in the country, the C31.

The key specifications of POCO’s upcoming C50 are yet to be revealed. In a press release, the company said that the device would be a “budget disrupter” with “stellar camera performance, immersive multimedia experience,” and “long battery life with a sleek design.” Before the launch event, we will learn more about smartphones.

POCO C50 has been spotted on the IMEI database and Google Play-supported devices, according to past reports. It appears to be a rebranded Redmi A1+.

The new Redmi A1+ will sport 6.52 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.

It features an 8MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 12 OS without any custom skin on top. The device measures 9.09 mm thick and weighs 192g.
