Oppo launched its first tablet earlier this year, the OPPO Pad, featuring an 11-inch LCD panel, Snapdragon 870 processor, and 13MP camera. Apparently, Oppo’s first-gen tablet will be succeeded by its successor. According to reports, the tablet has a high-resolution screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.

Oppo is working on a new flagship tablet that will succeed the previously launched Oppo Pad, according to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. The device is expected to be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset and have a screen resolution of 2800×2000 pixels. DCS suggests the tablet will launch soon. The exact launch date, however, was not disclosed.

Since the tablet uses the flagship Dimensity 9000 chipset, we can expect smooth performance. Based on TSMC’s 4nm process, the SoC has one Cortex-X2 core with a clock frequency of up to 3 GHz, three A710 cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.85 GHz, and four power-efficiency cores (Cortex-A510) with a clock frequency of up to 1.8 GHz.

Oppo has yet to confirm any details about the rumored device, so take this leak with a grain of salt. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about the tablet soon. Stay tuned.
