Recently, Vivo teased the upcoming Vivo X90 series with an official close-up of the phone’s leather back panel. Leaked renders earlier this week gave us a slightly better look at the lineup. Here are high-resolution renders of Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ courtesy of tipster Inshan Agrawal.
Vivo X90 & Vivo X90 Pro+:
Vivo X90 series borrows heavily from Vivo X80 Pro. On the back, the phones have a circular camera island with quad cameras. The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ look exactly the same. The displays will be curved with a hole cut out in the middle to accommodate the front-facing camera. The only noticeable difference between the two is the size of the camera module on the Vivo X90 Pro+.
The rear panel of the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ comes with a leather-like texture only in the Red color option. A black strip also contains the words “Xtreme Imagination” and “Vivo | Zeiss co-engineered”. Matte finishes are available in Black and Ice Blue. Last but not least, on the right side of the frame are the power button and volume controls.
Both the standard model and the top-of-the-line Vivo X90 share a similar design. Since all members of the lineup look a lot like the Vivo X80 Pro, it helps cement this design language as Vivo’s X-series design language.
Moreover, the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ are expected to have 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage, at least in China. Additionally, Qualcomm is expected to make the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset official soon for the Vivo X90 Pro+.
