Following the successful launch of Jio’s True 5G Welcome offer in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Varanasi, and Nathdwara, India’s largest telecom network is expanding the beta trial program to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Thousands of Jio customers have already experienced its True 5G network in the six cities mentioned above. According to Jio, the response has been extremely positive so far, and customer feedback and insights are helping build the “most advanced 5G network in the world.”

Jio users have reported speeds between 500 Mbps and 1 Gbps on their 5G smartphones. Through the MyJio application, Jio welcomes offers customers can opt-in for unlimited high-speed 5G data.

Jio True 5G in Bengaluru and Hyderabad:

From November 10th, 2022, Jio True 5G will be available in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Beta trial offers are only available to customers who are invited and opt-in manually. With the Jio Welcome offer, users can receive unlimited 5G data at speeds up to 1 Gbps+. The basis on which Jio sends invitations to customers is unclear, but we believe it depends on where in a city the network is initially available.

With Jio True 5G, there is a three-fold advantage, so better speeds are essential. First, stand-alone 5G architectures with advanced 5G networks that are independent of 4G networks. In the next step, we will discuss the best mix of spectrum for 5G across 700MHz, 3500MHz, and 26MHz bands. The aggregation of 5G frequencies creates a robust ‘data highway’ that seamlessly integrates these frequencies.

To use the Jio 5G network, users must enroll themselves in the ‘Welcome Offer’ trial. Customers who have been invited must look for the ‘Jio Welcome Offer’ banner at the top of the app. In the absence of such an option, the invite has not yet reached your mobile number. Clicking ‘I am interested is the next step for customers.
