Reports have claimed that OPPO will announce the Reno 9 series of smartphones later this month. Reno 9 may arrive with the Snapdragon 778G Plus, while Reno 9 Pro may carry the Dimensity 8200. According to a new leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the Reno 9 Pro+ may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. Additionally, the leak mentions the device’s other specifications.

This phone is rumored to have a 6.7-inch OLED screen, curved edges, narrow bezels, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It features a Full HD+ screen with a resolution of 2,400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. According to reports, the Reno 9 Pro+ is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.

There is also a 32MP camera for selfies on the smartphone, according to the leak. The primary camera on its back panel has a resolution of 50MP. A Sony IMX890-series camera sensor is used in the camera’s rear. In low-light conditions, the NPU unit on the device will probably help produce top-notch photos.

It is powered by a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. A metallic middle frame and an IR blaster (not normally seen on OPPO phones) are also features.

Other SD8+G1 phones are also in development by OPPO. Next month, it will be available on both the Find N2 foldable phone and the Find N flip phone. In Q1 2023, the Find X6 should have the same chip.
