Redmi also unveiled the vanilla Redmi Note 12 at the launch event for the Redmi Note 12 Pro series in China. Due to the lack of teasers or leaks, the announcement of this device came as a surprise.

It looks exactly like the Pro handsets. There are, however, some flaws in its specs.

On the rear, it features a 48MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has an 8MP camera on the front.

It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Among its connectivity options are dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and USB Type-C.

Additionally, the device features a 5,000mAh battery and support for 33W fast charging.
