Earlier this month, Reliance Jio launched its 5G services in top Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Besides Chennai and Rajasthan’s Nathdwara area, the company is launching 5G services in educational institutions, religious places, railway stations, bus stops, commercial hubs, and more across India. Reliance Jio announced that its True5G services will soon be available in more cities.

Jio users in the area will receive Jio True5G services without any charge during the Jio Welcome Offer. In addition, non-Jio users can also try 5G services before moving to Jio or getting the full and unlimited service.

According to Jio’s earlier announcement, Jio has also started rolling out Jio True5G services in Chennai, the latest metro city to get Jio 5G. Jio True5G will provide unlimited 5G data with up to 1Gbps speeds for invited Jio users in Chennai, the company announced.

“Today, we have powered the first True5G-enabled Wi-Fi service at the holy town of
Nathdwara and the temple of Lord Srinath Ji. With this, we will power many more such
locations and allow them to trial our services. In addition, we welcome Chennai as our
latest city to be added to Jio True5G Welcome Offer,” Reliance Jio chairman Akash Ambani said in a statement.
