In China, iQOO is expected to unveil its successor to the iQOO Neo 6 this month. There have been several leaks of the device, although the launch date has not been officially announced. This is the first time real-life images as well as a sample photo purported to have been taken by the Neo 7’s camera have surfaced.
Zhou Shen, a popular Chinese singer, reportedly held the unreleased phone during a live broadcast. There’s a square-shaped camera island at the back of the device, but the picture doesn’t give us a clear view of the device.
As for the number of sensors, earlier rumors suggest a triple-camera system. It features a 50MP Sony IMX766V image sensor paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP portrait telephoto lens.
IQOO Neo’s product manager shared an impressive camera sample on Weibo, especially since the shot was taken at night when lighting conditions were less than ideal. Neo 7’s camera performs well in low light conditions, as confirmed by the sample.
iQOO Neo 7 is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ flagship processor and a 1080P eye protection gaming screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the device will include a linear motor, NFC, infrared remote control, and others.
