Xiaomi launched the Redmi A1 in India last month. This is the second smartphone in the Redmi Go series to run Android Go.
A plus variant of the A1 has been leaking multiple times over the past few weeks. In Kenya, the Redmi A1+ is now sort of official.
Xiaomi Kenya’s official social media accounts tease the arrival of the Redmi A1 Plus on October 7. The phone, however, is already available on Jumia.

Design:

From the leaked renders, the Redmi A1+ will be very similar to the Redmi A1. The only major difference between the two phones is the inclusion of a fingerprint scanner on the back of the Redmi A1+. Apart from that, both devices will have the same specs and designs.

Specs:

The new Redmi A1+ will sport 6.52 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.
