China’s 3C certification platform has approved the rumored Redmi Note 12 Pro. There is a possibility that the phone will be released soon.
There has been a 3C certification awarded to a Redmi handset with model number 22101316C. ‘M16’ is the codename given to the device. According to its 3C certification, it may support fast charging at 67W.
In addition to the M16, two other Redmi phones with codenames “M17” and “M16UP” is expected to debut before the Xiaomi 13 series. The model number for the M17 is 22101317C, while the model number for the M16UP is 22101316UCP. There are three models in the M17 series: the M17, the M16, and the M16UP. According to the tipster, the M16UP is the strongest device in the lineup.
In October 2021, Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+. Hence, the Redmi Note 12 series is likely to launch in October this year. There is a possibility that the M17, M16, and M16UP will be the Redmi Note 12, the Redmi Note 12 Pro, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. It is possible that these devices will arrive in time for China’s Single’s Day sale on November 11.
Reports indicate that the Note 12 lineup will feature a dual camera unit comprising a 50 MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro/depth sensor. It is possible that the Pro+ edition will support 120W fast charging. Dimensity 1300 chipsets are likely to be used in the Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+.
