The company’s Nest brand is known for its smart home products, and it appears that the company is planning to launch a new product under the Nest brand called Google Nest WiFi Pro 6E.
According to its name, Google’s upcoming Nest router will be a WiFi 6E device. In advance of the official launch, a retailer’s listing has revealed the product’s pricing and color options.
B&H Photo prematurely listed the device, which has since been removed. Google Nest WiFi Pro 6E will be available in multiple color options and can be pre-ordered for $199.99 (Rs.16,000/-). Two-packs and three-packs will be available for $299.99 (Rs.24,000/-) and $399.99 (Rs.32,000/-).
In addition to the pricing and multiple color options, the listing has not revealed any images of the upcoming device. Whether it will come with a “Point” network extender remains to be seen.
With Bluetooth LE and mesh networking support, the Google Nest WiFi Pro 6E has already passed through the FCC certification process. Due to the additional bandwidth range of 6-7GHz, WiFi 6E routers are expected to have less interference than WiFi 6 models currently available.
