Qualcomm is back with some more chipset launches later this year for the mid-range segment. After the launch of SD 7 Gen 1, we hardly found any smartphone launched after Oppo Reno8 in China. Now we have got the complete specs sheet of the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC leaked online.
Now tipster Evan Blass has managed to get the press release of the upcoming Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. The new Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC will be arriving with a 2.2 GHz clocked Octa-core Kyro CPU. It is built on a 4nm process which makes it more power efficient than its predecessor. The chipset also gets support for the latest LPDDR5 RAM with support of up to 12GB.
The new Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC comes with FHD+ display support with a 120Hz refresh rate which might be let down. In terms of the camera now the chipset comes with Qualcomm Spectra ISP support with a triple 12-bit ISP. The chipset can support 13MP triple cameras or 25MP+16MP dual cameras or 48MP single cameras with 30FPS & Zero Shutter lag. It can shoot images up to 108MP and finally gets a 4K video recording feature.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC comes with Qualcomm FastConnect 6700 System with Wifi-6E & Bluetooth 5.2 support. It comes with Snapdragon X62 5G Modem with Download speeds up to 2.9 Gbps. The device also supports Dual 5G SIM support which was missing in the predecessor. Lastly, it comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0+ support.
