Seven months after Realme launched the Realme 9i with the Snapdragon 680 SoC, the company is preparing to unveil its 5G version. On August 18 at 11:30 AM local time, the Realme 9i 5G will be unveiled in India.
In a poster revealing its design and specs, Realme promotes the 9i 5G as “The 5G Rockstar.” Powered by a Dimensity 810 chip, the smartphone features a Laser Light Design back panel.
Due to its flat design, the rear cameras of the Realme 9i 5G appear to protrude more, unlike its 4G counterpart. On the right-side frame of the 9i 5G, there will be a power button that will also serve as a fingerprint scanner.
According to Madhav Sheth, Realme will launch a 5G smartphone in India between INR10,000 and INR15,000, but it’s unclear if he was referring to the Realme 9i 5G. Currently, the 9i 4G starts at INR13,499 and goes up to INR15,999.
