Apple launches its new phones in September, but Google releases its main Pixel device in October, and a new report says that won’t change in 2022. FrontPageTech, which accurately predicted the launch of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro last year, allegedly obtained the information from “very reputable sources”.
Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will apparently go on pre-order on October 6 and be available on October 13. Unless pre-orders begin at the same time as the launch event, we can infer that the event will occur on October 6.
The Google launch is once again scheduled for October, though it may be slightly earlier this year than in 2021 if everything goes according to plan. Google already showed us the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro months in advance at its annual developer conference in May, in an obvious effort to outmaneuver leakers. After all, what you’ve just read is allegedly leaked information, so Google’s strategy may have worked in part, but not entirely.
Google Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro:
Let’s start with the new Google Pixel 7 series which will launch later this fall. The new Google Pixel 7 & Google Pixel 7 Pro will surely remind us of the predecessor Google Pixel 6 series. Both the new Google Pixel 7 & Google Pixel 7 Pro still carry the huge visor on the back which is now made out of aluminum finish.
The Google Pixel 7 features dual cameras whereas the Google Pixel 7 Pro with triple rear cameras. The camera module protrudes outside which is more than its predecessor. The new Google Pixel 7 series might probably come with the same center punch-hole display similar to its predecessor.
The company revealed that Google Pixel 7 series will be powered by custom second-gen Google Tensor SoC. It will be official by this fall.
