Samsung finally launched its latest mid-range device with Samsung Galaxy A8+ in India. The Samsung Galaxy A8+ is priced at Rs.32,990/- and will be available in two colours with Gold and Black.The Samsung Galaxy A8+ will be exclusive to Amazon and will go on sale starting from Jan 20.
Samsung Galaxy A8+ comes with an all-new bezel-less design with nearly thin bezels at the front.It is built out of metal and glass and looks premium.Samsung Galaxy A8+ weighs 191 grams and is 8.3 mm thick.
At the front, we have the bezel-less display with slightly thinner bezels. On top of the display, we have the earpiece, Dual selfie camera, and sensors their is nothing below the display.At the back, we have the single camera with LED flash beside it and new fingerprint scanner located just below the camera module. On the right, we have the Power button and Volume rockers located on the left.
Samsung Galaxy A8+ 6.0 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080*2220p with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 which is having curved corners similar to Samsung Galaxy S8.
Samsung Galaxy A8+ is powered by Exynos 7885 chip coupled 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variants which can be expanded via microSD cards up to 256GB.
Samsung Galaxy A8+ feature single rear camera which is having a resolution of the 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.7, LED flash and PDAF.At the front, we have Dual Selfie cameras with a primary sensor of 16MP and an 8MP secondary sensor both having an aperture of f/1.9.The selfie camera is having two separate sensors an one can easily switch the camera and take pictures and it also comes with features like Portrait shots and Live Focus feature where one can directly select the bokeh effect manually live.It also comes with VDiS (Video Digital Stabilization) which prevent shaky videos.The rear camera can record videos up to 4K @30fps.
The Connectivity option includes Dual SIM/Single SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, ANT+, A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NFC, USB-Type C port, 3.5 mm audio port, and fingerprint scanner.The Samsung Galaxy A8+ will also come with an IP68 rating which makes the device dust and water resistant.All this fueled with 3500 mAh battery support for Samsung Fast charging technology.It also comes with support for Samsung Pay.The Samsung Galaxy A8+ still run on Android 7.1.1 and will be upgraded to Android Oreo later.
