Motorola has now quietly introduced two new mid-range devices Moto G62 & Moto G42. Both the new Moto G62 & Moto G42 will be soon landing in India next. The Moto G62 comes in two colors Frosted Blue and Midnight Gray whereas Moto G42 is in Metallic Rosé and Atlantic Green colors. Pricing details will be made official in the coming weeks.

Moto G42:

The new Moto G42 looks no different when compared with any other previously launched devices. From the front, the new Moto G42 features a center punch-hole display with thicker bezels surrounding the display. On the back, there are triple rear cameras under the oval-shaped camera module with LED flash.

The power button with volume rockers is on the right side of the device. The USB Type-C Port with speaker mesh & secondary mic on the bottom of the device. It measures 8mm thick & weighs 175g.

Specs:

The new Moto G42 will sport massive 6.5 inches FHD+ OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Unlike the predecessor, the new Moto G42 will lack 5G support & turns out to be a 4G only smartphone as it is powered by SD680 SoC. It is coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage space.

 

The device features a 50MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide & 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. It features a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole display. There are dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The connectivity options include Dual Band Wifi, 4G LTE, FM Radio, Dual SIM support, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 5.0. The device packs a 5000 mAh battery with 20W fast charge support. It runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.

Moto G62:
