Motorola is back with another G-series smartphone now with the Moto G40 successor aka Moto G42. Previously Motorola launched Moto G52 & Moto G62, now the company planning for a cheaper Moto G42. In the past, we already got renders showing the Moto G42 in full glory. Now we have spotted the Moto G42 passing through Geekbench that reveals the specs.
As per the source, the new Moto G42 is running on Android 12 OS out of the box. The device is again powered by the same SD680 SoC from Moto G52. It is coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage space. The device managed to secure not so impressive 376 under single & 1538 under the multi-core test.
Apart from this nothing much about the device is revealed. The new Moto G42 is rumored to sport an AMOLED display this time with FHD+ resolution.
The new Moto G42 looks no different when compared with any other previously launched devices. From the front, the new Moto G42 features a center punch-hole display with thicker bezels surrounding the display. On the back, there are triple rear cameras under the oval-shaped camera module with LED flash.
The power button with volume rockers is on the right side of the device. The USB Type-C Port with speaker mesh & secondary mic on the bottom of the device. Sadly, we still don’t have any details about the specs or launch at the moment.
