Samsung is about to launch the next set of premium foldable with Galaxy Z Flip4 & Galaxy Z Fold4. Ahead of the launch we already saw alleged renders showing the first look of the new Galaxy Z Flip4. Now the new Galaxy Z Flip4 has just hit the Geekbench listing which reveals some of the specs of the device.
As per the listing, the alleged Galaxy Z Flip4 is listed as SM-F721U which is running on Android 12 OS out of the box. The listing claims that Galaxy Z Flip4 is powered by an unknown codename Taro which comes with a max clock speed of 3.19Ghz. This indirectly confirms that it could be using the latest Cortex X2 performance cores. It is coupled with three cores clocked at 2.75 GHz which might be the Cortex-A710 along with four cores of Cortex-A510 clocked at 1.8 GHz.
So going on from the above specs of the processor the codename Taro might be for the upcoming flagship SD Gen 1+ SoC. Hence we can confirm that Galaxy Z Flip4 is powered by the latest SD 8 Gen 1+ SoC this year. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and probably 256GB storage space. It secured an impressive 1277 under single & 3642 under multi-core test.
Further, the device was also spotted on the 3C listing which confirmed the battery details of the Galaxy Z Flip4. Now the new Galaxy Z Flip4 will pack a lower 3595 mAh battery which is split into two with 2,555mAh (EB-BF723ABY part number) and 1,040mAh (EB-BF724ABY). Sadly, no word about fast charging details at the moment.
