OnePlus has now launched the cheaper OnePlus Ace Racing Edition in China. After the launch of the new OnePlus Ace aka OnePlus 10R we now have the lighter version aka OnePlus Ace Racing Edition. The new OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will arrive in two colors Blue and Black.
Design:
The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition design is completely inspired by the OnePlus 10 Pro. So we might expect the device could turn out to be the cheaper OnePlus 10.
Anyway, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition comes with a center punch-hole display on the front. The back is almost similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro with missing Hasselblad branding. Yes, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition features a triple camera setup under a huge rectangular camera module with an LED flash beside it. It measures 8.7mm thick & weighs 205g.
The Power button is on the right side which also doubles up as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The volume rockers are placed on the left of the device. Sadly, no alert slider key on the device.

The new OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will sport 6.59 inches FHD+ IPS LCD 120Hz refresh rate punch-hole display. Sadly, no in-display fingerprint scanner nor an alert slider on the device. The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition features triple rear cameras with a 64MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture along with an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide & 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensor. There is a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. It runs on Android 12 OS with Oxygen 12 skin on top. The connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, a dual SIM slot, and a USB Type-C port.
The new OnePlus Ace Racing Edition with 8GB+128GB cost 1999 Yuan (Rs.23,000/-) whereas the 8GB+256GB at 2199 Yuan (Rs.25,500/-) & 12GB+256GB at 2499 Yuan (Rs.28,900/-) in China.
