Motorola is about to launch its next smartphone under the premium segment with its successor to the Moto Razr series. Yes, Motorola will make its comeback with the next clamshell smartphone after the success of the Moto Razr. Ahead of the launch we now got the first look at the upcoming Motorola Razr aka Maven.
As per the source, the alleged Moto Razr has been codenamed Maven which is all set to launch soon. The source also revealed the first look of the device which looks a lot similar to the Galaxy Z Flip3. The phone still got a squarish or slightly boxy design without any chin, unlike its predecessor. The device will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner placed on the right.
The device comes with a center punch-hole foldable display with a huge hinge separating the display. On the back, we have a huge notification display with dual rear cameras below it. The source revealed that the device will come in two colors Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue.
The new Motorola Razr will now sport an FHD+ OLED display with probably 120Hz refresh rate support. It is powered by top-end SD 8 Gen 1 SoC but will also have another variant powered by the latest SD 8 Gen 1+ SoC. It will be shipping with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space.
The Motorola Razr will feature a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture along with 13MP ultra-wide sensor which also acts as a macro sensor. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
The Motorola Razr will land in China first by end of June or early July & will expand to global markets later.
