Looks like we finally have bad news for those who like to record their calls through third-party apps as Google has now planned to end the support. Yes, the latest update from Google is that they will soon kill all the third-part call recording apps from Google Play Store.
As per the reports, Google has now announced a deadline from which the third-party call recording apps from Google Play Store will have vanished. Yes, you heard it right the apps which you were relying upon to record your calls will no longer be functional right from May 11. Google will now disable the third-party app developers’ Accessibility API for recording the call audio stream.
This move is as per improved privacy and security as call recording laws globally. But the in-built or native call recording apps will have no effect and will function normally. For now, there is a relief for the native call recording feature but we aren’t sure about the future at the moment.
