MediaTek has now finally announced the successor to last year’s launch Dimensity 1200 SoC with Dimensity 1300 SoC today. The new Dimensity 1300 SoC might make its debut with OnePlus Nord2T/3 later this year.
The new Dimensity 1300 comes with an octa-core processor with four Cortex A73 cores featuring one Ultra core clocked at 3.0 GHz & remaining three Super cores at 2.6GHz. The remaining four cores Cortex A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. It is coupled with 9-core Arm Mali-G77 MC9.
The Dimensity 1300 comes with an FHD+or 2520x1080px resolution display & up to 168Hz refresh rate support. It can support up to 16GB of 4266Mbps LPDDR4x RAM & UFS 3.1 storage. The chipset comes with ISP support up to a 200MP camera & can capture multi-person portrait mode video. It also supports 4K video recording.
Going out with the specs we can expect Dimensity 1300 SoC to compete with SD778G as it comes with almost similar internals.
