As per the report, we might probably have bad news for those waiting for the cheaper iPhone 14 models. Sadly, this year iPhone 13 Mini will not get a successor but will be replaced with a huge screen display iPhone 14 Max. The new iPhone 14 series will include two models with D27 being vanilla iPhone 14 & D28 the new iPhone 14 Max. The iPhone 14 Pro series comes with D73 aka the iPhone 14 Pro & D74 aka the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The new iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Pro comes with smaller 6.1 inches display whereas the iPhone 14 Max & iPhone 14 Pro Max with larger 6.7 inches. The iPhone 14 Pro series will retain the same resolution display as the iPhone 13 Pro series. So the iPhone 14 Pro will sport an 1170 x 2532p resolution display whereas the Pro Max with 1284 x 2778p.
Further, the report claims that iPhone 14 Pro models will get different aspect ratios this year with 19.5:9. This might be due to upcoming design changes on the iPhone 14 Pro which will now feature a punch-hole display.
As expected the new iPhone 14 Pro series will indeed be powered by the latest Apple A16 SoC. The source claims that A16 SoC will now be built on the latest 4nm process which makes it faster and more energy-efficient. Now comes the bad news the source claims that the company is facing some supply chain issues for the new Apple A16 SoC.
Due to this the company has now planned to ditch the new chipset on the vanilla iPhone 14 series. Yes, the new iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Max will now ship with outdated Apple A15 SoC instead of the latest A16 SoC. Further, all the models will have a min of 6GB RAM but only the iPhone 14 Pro will have the latest LPDDR5 RAM. The source claims that the Pro models will finally get 8GB RAM support.
Further, the source claims that iPhone 14 Pro models will feature a 48MP main sensor this year. Lastly, the source claims that iPhone 14 series might get support for satellite telecom.
