Samsung has also unveiled the two new mid-range M-series smartphones with Galaxy M23 & Galaxy M33. In the past, we saw various leaks about the new Galaxy M23 & Galaxy M33. Now the company has finally launched it but didn’t reveal the pricing or availability details at the moment. Both the Galaxy M23 & Galaxy M33 will be landing in India in the coming days.
Samsung Galaxy M33:
The new Galaxy M33 reminds us of the predecessor aka Galaxy M22 with no major design changes at all. It looks strikingly similar to the predecessor with the same waterdrop notch on the front with thicker bezels. The Galaxy M33 again features a square-shaped camera module featuring quad-rear cameras. It comes in Green, Blue, & Brown colors.
The Galaxy M33 will again ship with a polycarbonate back with a textured back and measures 9.4 mm thick. It weighs around 215g. The new Galaxy M33 sports 6.6 inches FHD+ Infinity-V TFT display. The new Galaxy M33 is powered by an unknown Octa-Core (2.4GHz + 2GHz) processor coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM & 128GB internal storage. It gets support for storage expansion via a microSD card.
On the back, the Galaxy M33 features quad rear cameras with a 48MP main sensor having an aperture of f/2.0, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
All this is packed with a larger 6000 mAh battery and comes with 15W fast charging support. The new Galaxy M33 runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top. The device also keeps the 3.5 mm jack, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, and also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Samsung Galaxy M23:
The new Galaxy M23 5G will come with a known design and looks almost similar to Galaxy A33 5G. Yes, the Galaxy M23 5G will come with the same waterdrop notch at the front with thicker bezels surrounding the display. In a similar fashion to the newly leaked Galaxy A33 5G, the Galaxy M23’s back cameras are arranged in a raised camera bump.
In addition to the power button and volume rocker, the Galaxy M23 5G sports a USB-C port at the bottom. To listen to music, you’ll need to use USB-C or Bluetooth earphones. The SIM Card slot is placed on the left. It measures 8.5mm thick with a camera bump of 10.3mm thick. It weighs 198g and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The new Galaxy M23 5G will now sport 6.6 inches FHD+ TFT display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Sadly, the device still features a waterdrop notch instead of a punch-hole. The Galaxy M23 5G will be powered by SD750G SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also gets MicroSD card support.
The new Galaxy M23 5G features a 50MP main sensor with OIS support, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. It comes with a 13MP selfie shooter under the notch.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, 4G LTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 3.5 mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A22 5G packs the same 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charge support and runs on Android 11 OS. It comes with 5G SA/NSA with support for 11 5G bands.
