Motorola has finally launched its next affordable smartphone in the European market with Moto G22. In the past, we already got the detailed specs with renders of the device. Now finally the device is official and will go on sale from today. The device will come in Cosmic Black, Pearl White, and Iceberg Blue colors.
Design:
The new Moto G22 looks similar to Moto G51 with a punch-hole notch on the front. On the back, the device comes with vertically aligned triple cameras along with an LED flash on the right. It gets a weird camera layout this time which makes the device look unique.
There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the bottom of the deice we got a USB Type-C port along with speaker mesh and on the right, we got volume rockers along with the Power button and Google Assistant key. It measures 9.19 mm thick and weighs 185g. It will come in three colors White, Iceberg Blue, Cosmic Black.
Specs:
The new Moto G22 will arrive with 6.53 inches HD+ display with a resolution of 720*1600p. So probably the Moto G22 will ship with the same display as the Moto G20 with higher 90Hz refresh rates. The Moto G22 will be powered by MediaTek Helio G37 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The device ships with quad-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP 120-degrees ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro or depth sensor. There is a 16MP (f/2.45) selfie camera on the punch-hole notch. It also gets a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity options include Dual Band Wifi, 4G LTE, FM Radio, Dual SIM support, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 5.0. The device packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W fast charge support. It runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.
The Moto G22 will be priced under 169.99 Euros (Rs.14,300/-) in Europe.
