Asus has launched the new ROG Phone 5s series earlier this month in India. Just a week after the announcement, Asus has launched the new Asus 8z in India. Yes, after almost six months of the official launch the compact flagship lands in India. Again the Asus 8z will be exclusive to Flipkart.
Specs:
ASUS 8z sports compact 5.9 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top along with HDR10+ support.
Both the new ASUS 8z are powered by the same SD888 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM & 128GB/256GB storage support. The ASUS 8z still features a microSD card slot for further storage expansion.
The new ASUS 8z features a 64MP camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor with f/1.8 aperture & OIS along with 12MP ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX363 sensor with Dual PD AF, f/2.3 aperture & 8K support.
The new ASUS 8z features a 12MP Sony IMX663 selfie shooter on the front. The Asus 8z will ship with an in-display fingerprint scanner support. The new Asus 8z series will also get Dual stereo speakers with Dirac HD Sound, a 5-magnet speaker with dual NXP TFA9874 smart amplifiers. It also features triple-mics with OZO Audio Zoom & ASUS Noise Reduction Technology.
The new ASUS 8z comes with Dual SIM with 5G (SA/NSA), Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.2, A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, FM Radio, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack and NFC.
The new ASUS Zenfone 8 packs a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging Qualcomm QC 4.0 support. It runs on Android 11 OS with Zen UI 8.0 on top.

The new Asus 8z with the 8GB+128GB at Rs.42,999/- in India. Launch offers include a flat 10% discount on Slice ad Yes Bank credit cards. It will go on sale from March 7.
