Asus announced the flagship lineup with Asus Zenfone 8 series last year. After almost six long months of wait, the compact flagship Asus Zenfone 8z aka Asus 8z is landing in India. yes, Asus India has now confirmed the Indian launch date for the new Asus 8z.
As per the post, the new Asus 8z will finally land in India on Feb 28 at 12:00 PM IST. Yes, that’s next week on Monday the device will be official in India. Again the Asus 8z will be Flipkart exclusive in India. Further, Asus has made popular Actor Milind Soman is the brand ambassador for the Asus 8z in India.
All eyes are on the pricing of the device as we already have Asus ROG Phone 5s launched at 50K and even the iQOO 9 at 42k. We expect the Asus 8z could be priced under 40K in India.

ASUS 8z sports compact 5.9 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top along with HDR10+ support.
Both the new ASUS 8z are powered by the same SD888 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM & 128GB/256GB storage support. The ASUS 8z still features a microSD card slot for further storage expansion.
The new ASUS 8z features a 64MP camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor with f/1.8 aperture & OIS along with 12MP ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX363 sensor with Dual PD AF, f/2.3 aperture & 8K support.
The new ASUS 8z features a 12MP Sony IMX663 selfie shooter on the front. The Asus 8z will ship with an in-display fingerprint scanner support. The new Asus 8z series will also get Dual stereo speakers with Dirac HD Sound, a 5-magnet speaker with dual NXP TFA9874 smart amplifiers. It also features triple-mics with OZO Audio Zoom & ASUS Noise Reduction Technology.
The new ASUS 8z comes with Dual SIM with 5G (SA/NSA), Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.2, A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, FM Radio, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack and NFC.
The new ASUS Zenfone 8 packs a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging Qualcomm QC 4.0 support. It runs on Android 11 OS with Zen UI 8.0 on top.
