Xiaomi is all set to launch the cheaper smartphone under the Xiaomi 12 series with the new Xiaomi 12 Lite. Last year, we saw Xiaomi launching the Xiaomi 11 Lite both 4G and 5G variants of the device. So we can expect the same to repeat with the new Xiaomi 12 Lite this year.
As per the source, they have now got the very first look at the new Xiaomi 12 Lite. After the launch of Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X & Xiaomi 12 Pro we have the fourth model aka Xiaomi 12 Lite. The source revealed that Xiaomi 12 Lite is codenamed L9 taoyao. Further, the source has also made out a concept render showing the Xiaomi 12 Lite.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite will look identical to Xiaomi 12 but comes with a larger display. It still features the same triple rear camera layout from the Xiaomi 12. The power button along with volume rockers are on the right of the device.
The source revealed that Xiaomi 12 Lite will feature larger 6.55 inches OLED FHD+ resolution display. The device will likely be powered by Snapdragon 700 series chipset aka SD778G+ SoC. It will come with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage options.
Further, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will feature a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensor. Sadly no OIS support on the rear cameras.
