iQOO has finally launched the much-awaited flagship series with iQOO 9 series today in India. After almost a month of the official launch in China, the device is finally here for Global markets with India first. The new iQOO 9 series will now include three devices with iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro & iQOO 9 SE. All three devices will be exclusive to Amazon in India.
iQOO 9 SE:
The new iQOO 9 SE comes with a premium glass back similar to iQOO Neo5s. It has stereo speakers with an ultra-linear large-amplitude speaker unit at the bottom. The new iQOO 9 SE weighs about 196 grams and measures 8.39 mm thick. iQOO 9 SE will come in Space Fusion and Sunset Sierra colors.
The new iQOO 9 SE sports a 6.62 inches FHD+ 20:9 aspect ratio AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rates and HDR10+ support. The iQOO 9 SE is powered by SD888 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
The new iQOO 9 SE features triple-rear cameras with a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor having an aperture of f/1.79 with OIS, 13MP 120-degrees Ultra-Wide angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and 2MP Macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash. The device uses a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.46. The iQOO Neo5s 5G features an in-display fingerprint scanner with AK4377A Hi-Fi chip, & Hi-Res audio certification.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support only on iQOO 3 5G), A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack. The new iQOO Neo5s 5G packs a 4500 mAh battery with 66W Super Flash Charge support and run on Android 11 with OriginOS Ocean on top.
iQOO 9 Pro & iQOO 9:
Display:
The new iQOO 9 will sport 6.56 inches FHD+ AMOLED E4 display with a 120Hz refresh rate & 360Hz touch sampling rate. The iQOO 9 Pro features 6.78 inches QHD+ AMOLED LTPO 2.0 curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate & 360Hz touch sampling rate. It comes with 1500nits of brightness on Pro and vanilla. The iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The iQOO 9 Pro will get an Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. It measures 8.37mm thick and weighs 206g.
Camera:
The new iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro will feature a triple camera setup on the back. The iQOO 9 will come with a 48MP main sensor with OIS support. It is coupled with 13MP ultra-wide sensor with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 13MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, Gimbal OIS & LED flash.
The iQOO 9 Pro features the same 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 main sensor with gimbal OIS tech support. It comes with a secondary 50MP ultra-wide sensor with 150-degrees FoV coupled with a 16MP telephoto sensor. It also gets Fish Eye mode and also can capture macro shots through the secondary sensors.
The iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro features a 16MP selfie shooter which is placed under the punch-hole notch. iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro will be available in two colors with Legend and Alpha colors.
Performance & Connectivity:
The iQOO9 will come with SD888+ SoC whereas iQOO 9 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The iQOO 9 series is coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage option. Both the devices will run on Android 12 OS with OriginOS Ocean on top.
The iQOO 9 Pro will pack a 4700 mAh & iQOO 9 with 4350 mAh battery and come with 120W fast wired charging support. The iQOO 9 Pro comes with 50W wireless charging & 10W reverse wireless charging support. Both the devices come with stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, NFC, and 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port. Both the phones also get a Z-axis motor, Gaming triggers & Intelligent MEMC chip.
Pricing:
The iQOO 9 SE with 8GB+128GB cost Rs.33,990 & 12GB+256GB cost Rs.37,990 in India. The iQOO 9 with 8GB+128GB priced at Rs.42,990 whereas the 12GB+256GB at Rs.46,990 in India. The top-end iQOO 9 Pro with 8GB+256GB cost Rs.64,990 & 12GB+256GB at Rs.69,990 in India.
The launch offers include flat Rs.3000 extra off on exchange with an old smartphone for iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 SE. The iQOO 9 Pro will get flat Rs.4000 extra off on old smartphone exchange. Also Flat Rs.6000/-off for ICICI Bank credit card users for iQOO 9 Pro. iQOO 9 gets Rs.4000 cashback for ICICI bank users. Flat Rs.3000 off for ICICI bank users for iQOO 9 SE. Old iQOO users get flat Rs.10,000 off on exchange.
