Xiaomi announced the new flagship with Xiaomi 12 Pro last year in China. It came along with two more devices with Xiaomi 12 & Xiaomi 12X. After almost three months of the Chinese launch, we have a new report claiming the Indian launch details for the Xiaomi 12 Pro. In the past, we already got reports about Xiaomi 12 series to have a global launch soon.
As per the source, Xiaomi is now planning to just introduce the premium flagship with Xiaomi 12 Pro in India. Yes, the report just mentioned the details about the Xiaomi 12 Pro as of now and no word about the cheaper Xiaomi 12 or Xiaomi 12X. The new Xiaomi 12 Pro will surely land in India sometime in Q1 of FY 2022. So we can expect an early April or late March launch for India.
Lastly, the source reveals that Xiaomi 12 Pro will be priced aggressively in India. The source expects the Xiaomi 12 Pro will cost under Rs.55,000/- in India. Apart from this nothing much about the Xiaomi 12 Pro is revealed.
Xiaomi 12 Pro:
The new Xiaomi 12 Pro will look identical to Xiaomi 12 in terms of design and comes with a quad-curved display. It measures 8.6mm thick & weighs 205g. The device got a glass back with metal chassis giving it a premium feel.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro sports a larger 6.73 inches QHD+ AMOLED (3200 × 1440p) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colors, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1500-nits brightness.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The Xiaomi 12 Pro will come with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Xiaomi 12Pro features a 50MP f/1.9 aperture main sensor with OIS support. It comes with 50MP ultra-wide sensor with a 115-degrees FOV along with a 50MP Human eye lens with 28mm focal length & f/1.9 aperture.
The official teaser already revealed that Xiaomi 12 Pro will feature a 32MP selfie shooter. During the process of pixel-level skin rejuvenation, a generative adversarial network (GAN) reconstructs the skin’s details on a pixel-by-pixel basis, giving the skin a fresh and youthful appearance. The device also features CyberFocus tech.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro packs a 4600 mAh Cobalt Oxide battery with 120W fast wired & 50W wireless charging support. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port along with X-axis linear motor. It also gets stereo speakers powered by the Harmon Kardon. It runs on MIUI 13 with Android 12 OS out of the box.
