After a long wait POCO India has finally launched its first device for this year with POCO M4 Pro 5G. Do note that POCO M4 Pro 5G was already announced last year in Global markets and it took nearly three months to reach India. The new POCO M4 Pro 5G will be again exclusive to Flipkart in India.
Display:
The Poco M4 Pro 5G’s display is slightly larger, measuring 6.6″ diagonally (up from 6.5″), with a 1080p+ resolution (20:9) and a 90Hz refresh rate. The sampling rate for touch has been increased to 240Hz (up from 180Hz). The display is still protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and now has a normal brightness of 450 nits (up from 400 nits).
Camera:
The camera panel on the back was restored to its full width (no hump – only the region containing the lenses and flash was raised). The main camera switched to a 50MP sensor (up from 48MP 1/2.0”), but the notable change here is the addition of an 8MP ultrawide camera with 119º FoV, which will offer extra flexibility when shooting with the M4 Pro. In addition, the selfie camera’s resolution has been increased to 16 MP.
Processor:
These aren’t camera phones, though, these are instead affordable 5G phones with great battery life. The Dimensity 810 chipset, a 6nm version of the Dimensity 700 (7nm) that powered the M3 Pro, provides a 5G connection.
Connectivity:
The phone’s second element of the mission statement is that it has a 5,000 mAh battery, which is the same as the previous iteration. Charge speed has been improved with the bundled 33W adapter (up from 18W). Allowing for a 0-100 percent charge in 59 minutes. A quick top-up of ten minutes is enough to watch approximately two and a half hours of video.
Stereo speakers are included with the new POCO M4 Pro. The 3.5 mm headphone connector, as well as the microSD expansion slot, are still present. Sadly, the device features a fingerprint reader is built into the Power key. It also gets NFC support.
Pricing:
The POCO M4 Pro 5G with 4GB+64GB cost Rs.14,999/-. The 6/128 GB model costs Rs.16999/- & 8GB+128GB at Rs.18,999/- in India.
