Vivo is all set to bring the first flagship of 2021 with the new NEX series aka the Vivo NEX 5. In the past, we already got the alleged Vivo NEX 5 press image showing the device in full glory. Now we have a massive leak revealing the complete specs sheet along with the pricing of the Vivo NEX 5.
As per the source, the new Vivo NEX 5 will now sport a curved Samsung E5 LTPO 2.0 QHD+ punch-hole display. It will come with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. The Vivo NEX 5 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space.
The Vivo NEX 5 will feature a 50MP main Samsung GN1 sensor with an 8-bit lens and f/1.3 aperture plus OIS. There is a secondary 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture ultra-wide sensor with OIS support. The device also features a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait lens with f/2.93 aperture & OIS. Lastly, the Vivo NEX 5 will feature an 8MP OmniVision OVD8A10 telephoto lens with OIS and 5x optical, 10x hybrid & 60x digital zoom.
Vivo NEX 5 comes with a 32MP Samsung GD2 selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole display. The Vivo NEX 5 packs a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast wired and 50W fast wireless charging support. It will also get an IP68 rating making the device dust and water-resistant. The Vivo NEX 5 will run on Android 12 OS with FunTouch OS 12 on top.
Pricing:
The Vivo NEX 5 will be launching sometime in March or April this year. The Vivo NEX 5 with 8GB+256GB will cost 5999 Yuan (Rs.70,500/-), 12GB+256GB at 6499 Yuan (Rs.76,500/-). The top-end model with 12GB+512GB at 6999 Yuan (Rs.82,200/-) in China.
