Motorola introduced the new Moto Edge X30 sometime in Dec last year in China. Previously we saw various leaks revealing about the flagship for global markets. Yes, the Moto Edge X30 will be launching as Motorola Edge 30 Pro for Indian and Global markets. Now the company has officially confirmed the launch date for the first flagship under the Edge series.
As per the post, we can see Motorola finally revealing the launch details for the upcoming Edge series smartphone in India. The teaser image shows that the Motorola Edge series will land in Global and India on Feb 24. Sadly, the company didn’t reveal the exact model name for the device but we expect it could be Motorola Edge 30 Pro.
Apart from this nothing much about the new Motorola Edge 30 Pro is revealed at the moment.

The Motorola Edge X30 looks similar to any other Motorola device in the past with a center punch-hole notch and triple rear cameras. It measures 8.49mm thick and weighs around 194g. The new Motorola Edge X30 features 6.7 inches FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It also comes with HDR10+, 10 bit color & DCI-P3 color space with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The new Motorola Edge X30 is the first phone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage space. The device comes with a 50MP main OV50A40 sensor with f/1.88 aperture & OIS coupled with a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1SQ03 118-degrees ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Lastly, there is a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
The new Motorola Edge X30 features a whopping 60MP OV60A40 selfie camera with f/2.2 and 4K video recording support. Do note that the Special Edition too features the same selfie camera but it is hidden under the display. Sadly, the new Motorola Edge X30 still features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with IP52 certification. It also comes with Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, 5G NSA, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Frequency GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack & NFC. All this is backed by a larger 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
