After the Global debut of the new Redmi Note 11 series, we are now all eyes on the Indian launch. In the past, we got to know that Xiaomi has planned to introduce the Redmi Note 11S in India on Feb 9. Ahead of the official launch we already got the complete details of the device as it was launched yesterday for Global markets. Now probably we have got the pricing details leaked for India.
As per the source, Redmi will introduce only two storage variants of the new Redmi Note 11S in India. The new Redmi Note 11S will come with 6GB+64GB & 6GB+128GB storage option. The device will come in three colors Pearl White, Graphite Gray, and Twilight Blue for Global markets. We are still not sure India will also get the same color variants at the moment.
The Redmi Note 11S with 6GB+64GB is expected to cost Rs.17,999/- whereas the 6GB+128GB at Rs.19,999/-. Seems like pretty high pricing for just a 4G only device when compared with the competition.
Further, the latest teaser also hints the cheaper Redmi Note 11 will also tag along with the new Redmi Note 11S on Feb 9.
Redmi Note 11S:
The new Redmi Note 11S will look exactly similar to the recently launched Redmi Note 11T 5G in India. Yes, the new Redmi Note 11S will still come with a center punch-hole display with thinner bezels. On the back, the Redmi Note 11S comes with a weird rectangular camera module carrying quad-cameras with LED flash. The power button which also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner & volume rockers is on the right.
Specs:
The new Redmi Note 11S will sport 6.4 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The new Redmi Note 11S will feature a 108MP Samsung HM2 main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide & dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor with LED flash.
The new Redmi Note 11S is powered by SD680 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The Redmi Note 11S will run on Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 on top. It packs a 5000 mAh battery and comes with 33W fast charging support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res support, FM Radio, and Bluetooth 5.1. It runs on Android 11 with MIUI 13 on top.
