Looks like Motorola is all set to make its another benchmark with the second flagship for this year. In the past, we already got a massive leak revealing some of the specs of the alleged Frontier. Now we have another major leak coming in which reveals the first look along with specs of the Motorola Frontier 22.
Design:
As per the source, the upcoming flagship comes with the codename Motorola Frontier 22 which could be part of the Motorola Edge 30 series. It may end up as Motorola Edge 30+ similar to its predecessor. Further, the source also leaked the first look of the device. Yet again the new Motorola Frontier 22 looks identical to some of the Vivo smartphones out there.
On the front, the new Motorola Frontier 22 will sport a center punch-hole curved display having almost bezel-less edges. On the back, we have got a huge rectangular camera module featuring a huge main sensor along with two smaller sensors placed below it with LED flash. The device has also got a curvier back so that it offers a great grip to hold & is made out of glass. The power button along with volume rockers are on the right which confirms in-display fingerprint scanner support.
Specs:
The new Motorola Frontier 22 will sport 6.67 inches FHD+ AMOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate & HDR10+ support. The new Motorola Frontier 22 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus SoC which is codenamed Qualcomm Snapdragon SM8475 processor. It will be coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage space.
The Motorola Frontier 22 turns out to be the world’s first flagship to feature Samsung’s 200MP main sensor coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide & 12MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is a whopping 60MP selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole display. The device runs on Android 12 OS with MyUX on top.
The Motorola Frontier 22 packs a 4500 mAh battery with 125W wired & 50W wireless charging support. The connectivity options include USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS.
