In the past, we even got an official teaser revealing some of the specs of the new Redmi K50 series. We also got a leak revealing that Redmi K50 & Redmi K50 Pro will be delayed further & Redmi K50 GE will be launched soon.
Now the new leak from the same source reveals further details of the upcoming Redmi K50 series. The new Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be launching sooner this year than expected. The new Redmi K50 & Redmi K50 Pro will get a downgrade this year in terms of fingerprint scanners. Yes, both the Redmi K50 & Redmi K50 Pro will now feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Not just that even the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner after all.

Further, another tipster leaked the specs of the Redmi K50 GE ahead of the launch. As per the source, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will sport 6.67 inches FHD+ OLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It measures 8.45mm thick & weighs 210g.
The new Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It packs a 4700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition features 64MP/48MP main sensor coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide & 2MP depth/macro sensor with LED flash. It will retain the dual VC colling system and gaming shoulder trigger keys.
