Previously we got to know that iQOO 9 series launching in India soon will be different from that launched in China. Later we also got a report stating that vanilla iQOO 9 will be nothing but previously launched iQOO 8 in China. Now we have some major leak that reveals the detailed specs of the new iQOO 9 series launching in India.
iQOO 9:
As per the source, the vanilla iQOO 9 will now sport 6.56 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a 10-bit display with a custom display chip & Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. Now the new iQOO 9 could turn out to be India’s first phone powered by SD888+ SoC. It comes with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM & 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The iQOO 9 features a 48MP main sensor with OIS coupled with a 12MP ultra-wide & 13MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom. It comes with a 16MP selfie shooter & comes with 120W super-fast charging support. Sadly no word about battery details. It runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.
iQOO 9 Pro:
iQOO premium flagship iQOO 9 Pro will also get some minor changes in terms of internals when compared with the Chinese variant. The new iQOO 9 Pro will sport 6.78 inches QHD+ LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM & 128GB/256GB storage.
The device features 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS coupled with ultra-wide & telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom. It packs a 4700 mAh battery with 120W fast charge support. The iQOO 9 Pro runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.
