Looks like we probably have good and bad news for those planning to get the budget flagship Redmi K50 series. Recently we saw Redmi GM teasing the Redmi K50 series that revealed the key specs along with the coming soon tag. Now probably we got bad news as the company now delays the launch of Redmi K50 & Redmi K50 Pro series.
As per the source, the popular tipster Digital Chat Station has now confirmed that Redmi will first introduce the new Redmi K50 Gaming Edition first this year. Further, the post also revealed that Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Yes, not MediaTek instead it will come with a premium Qualcomm flagship processor this time.
Not just the processor to keep the device cool the brand is also putting the premium heat-dissipation system. It will also come with premium Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top of the screen. The device will also come with JBL stereo speakers, an X-axis haptics motor & dual VC liquid cooling. The Redmi K50 GE will be packing a 4700 mAh battery & 120W fast charging support.
Further, the tipster also hints that Redmi K50 & Redmi K50 Pro series will follow later & will surely cost higher than expected. The other variants of the Redmi K50 series will ship with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9000/8000 SoC.
