Previously Samsung just made the announcement of the budget tablet aka Galaxy Tab A8 in Europe. Now finally the wait is over as the company quietly launched the Galaxy Tab A8 in India. The new Galaxy Tab A8 is already on sale through Flipkart, Amazon & all leading offline retailers in India. It comes in three colors with Gray, Silver, and Pink Gold colors.
Design:
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is rectangular in shape. It features big bezels around the screen and a front-facing camera on the right. The right side has a volume rocker and fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it comes with a single camera sensor and Samsung branding. On the top are two speaker grills and a microphone. 3.5mm audio jack and two speakers are on the bottom.
Specs:
It will arrive with a 10.5-inch TFT WUXGA (2000*1200p) panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. The tablet will be powered by Unisoc T618 SoC coupled with 4GB/3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage. Availability will be market-dependent. It weighs 476g and measures 6.9mm thick.
The tablet has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Galaxy Tab A8 has a 7,040mAh battery that supports 15W rapid charging. It will feature quad-speakers located on either side with Dolby Atmos support. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 support, Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C Port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Pricing:
The Galaxy Tab A8 Wifi only pricing starts at Rs.17,999/-. As part of the launch offer, Samsung bundled free accessories worth Rs.999/- and also provided Rs.2000/- cashback on select Debit/credit cards.
